Day 6 – Three Forks MT, Yellowstone, Rock Springs WY

We had a looonnnngggg day today!  Didn’t get to the hotel until 11pm.  Lots of pix of wildlife and nature that I’ll try to post tonight.  Headed for Moab, UT today (day 7).

Day 6 – part 2.

Well, it was a great day.  Yellowstone, wildlife, Old Faithful, etc.

These guys were just standing on the side of the road.

Natural Springs in Yellowstone.  The sulphur smell was harsh!

Old Faithful.  We only had to wait about 45 minutes before it blew.  It goes on average every 92 minutes.  I took some video with a digital camera.  I don’t think you’re supposed to hold the camera “sideways” though!  DUH!

I liked the look of these mountains.  It reminded me of a scene out of LOTR—
