Day 7 – Rock Springs WY to Moab UT

HOT HOT HOT!  Only 101 today.  HA!

Another good day for the bikes.  I figured out that the last two mornings when we were ready to leave, there were a couple of bees flying around the bikes.  I’m taking this as a good omen!!!  The following are just some neat pix.  LOTS of great scenery.  We were on US191 the whole day.  Part of it was spent riding through a canyon that was just amazing.  We’re planning on modifying our trip because neither of us are keen to keep riding south into constant 100+ degree days.

101 a bother? Ride at night! Just watch out for the deer. Head up into the La Sals or over to Telluride for a few days. 10,000ft elevation will cool you off. If you hit Ouray, make sure to eat at Bombie’s!

Oh, and before you leave Moab, you MUST eat breakfast at the Moab Diner. Best green chili breakfast burritos on the planet.

    Yum!
